All Mobil SHC Polyrex greases are NSF H1 approved and also comply with US FDA Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants with incidental food contact. They also meet kosher requirements. Mobil SHC Polyrex greases are manufactured in facilities that are ISO 22000 certified and also meet the requirements of ISO 21469 to ensure the highest standards of product purity.

Application Notes: The Mobil SHC Polyrex Series is compatible with many polyurea and lithium complex greases. However, admixture can affect performance. Therefore, it is recommended that prior to changing from any other type of thickener to Mobil SHC Polyrex greases, the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned to achieve maximum performance. Depending on application conditions, the following three Mobil SHC Polyrex

Customized lubricating greases:

• Mobil SHC Polyrex 005 is NLGI grade 00, specifically designed for use in centralized lubrication systems. Thanks to the improved flow behavior even at low temperatures, it is ideally suited for lubrication systems that are operated at low ambient temperatures, e.g. B. in cold rooms in food processing and outdoors. Mobil SHC Polyrex 005 can also be used to lubricate enclosed gears where oil leakage can be a problem. The recommended operating temperature range for this product is -30°C to 170°C.

• Mobil SHC Polyrex 221 is a multipurpose grease that conforms to NLGI #1. It was specially developed for use in high-performance radial and roller bearings. Mobil SHC Polyrex 221 is suitable for operating temperatures between -30 °C and 170 °C.

• Mobil SHC Polyrex 222 is a multipurpose grease that conforms to NLGI #2. It was specially developed for use in high-performance radial and roller bearings. Mobil SHC Polyrex 222 is suitable for operating temperatures between -30 °C and 170 °C.

• Mobil SHC Polyrex 462 is an NLGI #2 grease. It is suitable for heavily loaded radial and roller bearings. It is also suitable for bearings exposed to extremely high temperatures, e.g. B. in steam-heated rollers, in exhaust air fans, in felt rollers and in furnace conveyor systems. It is suitable for operating temperatures between -20 °C and 170 °C.
