Bentonite fats do not have a dropping point,
As a result, persistently high temperatures do not lead to phase separation with oil leakage, but inevitably to oil coking. It is therefore particularly important at high operating temperatures (more than 150 degrees C) to comply with the relubrication intervals. This is the only way to avoid coking of the mineral oil and thus dry running with the resulting destruction of the bearing.
Bentonite hot bearing grease G are incompatible with other conventional lubricating greases (mixed by relubricating with another type) and many common lubricating grease additives.
