Medialub 8220 is a new vegetable oil based biodegradable gel lubricant. It was specially developed for total loss lubrication of the chains and bars of harvester units that are equipped for the use of conventional lubricating greases.

Due to its highly viscous, non-drip and dimensionally stable gel character, it combines the advantages of traditional harvester lubricating oils and lubricating greases. These properties counteract the formation of spray mist and significantly reduce the consumption of the lubricant. A good-natured, largely temperature-independent viscosity behavior (from approx. - 20 °C to approx. + 80 °C) enables year-round use in both winter and summer. In addition, highly effective additives ensure reliable and long-lasting wear minimization with strong corrosion protection and good aging resistance.

Medialub 8220 is delivered in buckets with a net content of 18 kg or in 500 g tubes, which should preferably be emptied using a bucket or grease gun.

The use of Medialub 8220 for bearing lubrication is not recommended.
