– easy to handle liquid
– allows one to formulate lubricants, e.g. EP turbine oils, AWHFs, with high thermo-oxidative stability
– acts as a FZG "enhancer" in a broad variety of lubricants: in DTP based AWHFs, greases and MWFs
Characteristics of lubricants comprising IRGALUBE 355:
– excellent gear protection (assessed by FZG scuffing test)
– good compatibility with: water, Ca detergents, ZnDTPs and currently used lubricants
– no antagonism towards iron and yellow metal protection
